Here at Perdida our mission is simple.
We use fresh, local ingredients to produce vibrant and inspiring food from around the globe.
Everything we make is bursting with flavour but with no processed ingredients!
Based at Ferne animal sanctuary in the heart of the Somerset countryside. With views overlooking the lake and animals all around its the perfect place for a day out and lunch with friends and family

Our food ethos
Our predominantly plant based menu trots around the Caribbean and South America with an abundance of flavour and colour. We use local produce at every opportunity from our kitchen garden at Olive (our sister venue) and other trusted suppliers.
Our aim is to bring you something a bit different and naturally vegan…you wont miss the meat! However we do offer eggs and dairy for those that need a little something else.
We also offer toasted sandwiches, cheese scones, cakes, barista coffee and other homemade drinks, shakes and smoothies

Indulge in our homemade cakes made with love! Enjoy local organic ethical coffee, homemade chai, homemade cordials and a selection of teas and soft drinks
Why are we here?
Our number one priority is to raise money for the Sanctuary and to provide a comfortable relaxed place for visitors to stop and enjoy a refreshment or lunch.
Everyone welcome
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive venue which means that we are a safe space for anyone who wants to enjoy our food!
Dogs are also very welcome in the cafe and on the terrace
We have plenty of parking and excellent wheelchair access both into the cafe and throughout the sanctuary
You can visit the cafe without having to visit the sanctuary but we thouroughly recommend that you do!
